Have you ever felt like you were on a treadmill - going, going, going - with no time to slow down? If you have, you probably also found that you can only keep that pace for so long before you start to feel burnt out or you get sick (and are forced to take some time off). We get so caught up in our busy and hectic lifestyles that we forget to connect with our inner self. It is important to take time from your busy schedule to relax and renew your spirit. In fact, when we take time to do this we come back to our work more creative and productive.

- Take a walk in nature - especially the beach
- Listen to my favorite music
- Take pictures of the beauty in nature
- Meditate or use guided imagery
- Have a picnic in a beautiful spot
- Watch turkey vultures and hawks soar through the sky
- Read something inspirational
- Spend time with my family
- Watch a funny movie
- Play with my cats
