I love the fall. As the temperatures begin to cool and you can feel the crispness of the fall air, I love to go walking in the woods. I have a few special places in some of the local nature parks and reserves that I like to visit. One area that I call Cedar Falls is off the beaten path under some cedar trees near a small waterfall. I love to sit underneath the cedar trees and feel the energy of the earth wash over me. The sound of the waterfall is so soothing and relaxing. I imagine this place washing away all of my tension and stress. It is a great way to renew my spirit and ignite my creativity. When I am unable to visit my favorite spots. I either imagine being there or I simply go in the backyard and feel mother nature there.
Taking time to connect with nature and enjoy the fresh air is vital to our health and well-being. I suggest that you take some time each week to get outside and spend time in nature. Listen to the sounds around you – the birds, the crickets, and the wind blowing through the leaves of the trees. Really immerse yourself in the surroundings. You might even want to take your shoes off to feel the earth beneath you. Imagine the strong, nurturing energy of the earth coming up through your feet and filling your body. Imagine the energy of the trees, plants, and flowers wrapping around you like a warm blanket. There is great wisdom and power in nature. Soak up this fabulous energy. Imagine all of your stress, tension, and worries melting away as you enjoy your time in nature.
